I was learning how to write direct speech using marks. It was a fun activity and I now know how to use speech marks correctly.

I was learning how to do multiplication by using repeated addition. I enjoyed doing this activity
because I now know how solve multiplication sums.

How to make a sandwich

Cheese

Plate

BBQ 

Knife

Plate

White bread

1. Take one piece of bread.       

   2. Take one cheese and open it up.          

   3. Cut the shape of a germ.                   

   4. Cut a nose, two eyes place them on the bread.  

   5. Put BBQ sauce and put a little bit on the two eyes. 

   6. Cut the mouth the same as the nose        

   7. Put  BBQ sauce on the mouth.

   8. Get a big piece of cheese and break it into little pieces. 

  9. Put them on the bread.

 10. Put the other slice of bread on top of your sandwich.

 11. Cut your sandwich in half and enjoy.

Looking after our Koha Garden

LI - We are learning to look after our environment by adopting a koha garden

We have been very lucky to have Mrs Robertson, the gardening guru, with us this year. We have been learning how to weed and water the garden. We also learnt how to grow vegetables from our koha garden. We grew many kinds of vegetables - kale, spinach, strawberries, tomatoes, potatoes, cabbage and more! We made kale chips and spinach dips and tried some of our vegetables fresh!
